Welcome to another Tuesday Idea! With Mother’s Day just a few short weeks away, it’s the perfect time to prepare and create something special just for mom. If there’s one thing moms love, it’s anything handmade. I just love it when my children give me their handmade creations each year. I treasure each one. My own mother is the same way. Even though I am grown, my mom still loves to receive any of my handmade creations.
Using the new Mom & Dad stamp set, I created a collage-style sentiment for mom. The handwritten font from this set is the perfect touch for a handmade creation. Especially when framed using the diagonal stripe border in pale green.
For a simple but feminine detail, I added white paper doilies. I just love how the crisp white doilies contrast against the green trim. A little jute twine and peach colored blossoms make this card ready for mom on her special day.
